UNC Moves Up To 18th in the AP Poll
According to ACC Now it is the highest ranking since the #12 Heels opened the ill fated Carl Torbush era in 1998 by losing to Miami(OH). UNC moves up four spots from last week and the Heels’ 5-1 mark is the best record since the 1997 team opened up 8-0 before losing to FSU. I think the final score was a bit misleading. UCLA could have and should have tallied up about 5-6 more interceptions in that game. Craft definitely took a step back tonight after putting up two solid efforts against WSU and FSU. Overall though, I was pretty happy with the defensive play. 10/12/08 As all four of us in the press box in the second half of yeasterday's game concluded, that was a game to forget. It was a win, but the highlight of the game for me was the tailgate. Do you always expect the program to keep itself elite? And if the program does lag off into mediocrity, do you get upset about it? I ask this because it's obvious that my Canes suck. Badly.
